Just as a man can not live without a heart, so also an academic institution can not thrive or flourish without a good library of its own.  This is a well known fact.  Having realized this fact, the enlightened management J.K.C.College started the library in the year 1968, later the library was renamed as Yalavarthi Rosayya Library and Reading Room as a mark of respect to the former Principal Sri.Y. Rosayya.

At the present the library is housed in a three floors building situated in the southern part of the western wing. Now we use two floors for library services. The general library with an issue/return counter ,E-learning center ,Institutional repository and OPAC is housed in the ground floor.  The Book bank and reference section occupies the mezzanine. The second floor consists of Back volumes section, Periodical section, Net resource center , Competitive  examination section and reading room with a color television set, having a capacity to accommodate about 200 people.
